New York City - The Boroughs

New York City - The Boroughs

Manhattan

We knew this was the first borough that would come to mind when we said New York. Or perhaps the Sex and the City girls? Home to the well-known attractions, you are sure to spend the day endlessly exploring. Known as the city that never sleeps, the borough has two ice skating rinks, an art gallery and a ton of other stuff in the park alone!

There’s more than meets the eye than just the twinkling lights in Times Square. Manhattan is home to charismatic neighbourhoods, hidden hideouts, rooftop bars with incredible views and even underground pizzerias!

Brooklyn

Take the C train from Manhattan to Brooklyn. Love a good bargain? Why not spend hours getting lost in racks of vintage threads and feel that 70’s show cool vibe in - We love Brooklyn Flea markets, especially on Saturdays!

The spectacular skyline view is not to be missed when walking across Brooklyn Bridge. Let Brooklyn’s trendy reputation precede you, head to Dumbo (Down Under the Manhattan Bridge Overpass) and walk along cobblestone streets, take in the smells and sounds of the artisanal food scene with a backdrop of industrial warehouses.

Bronx

Up north, home to the New York Yankees, The Bronx is known to have some of the best Italian and Latin food in the city. You could spend an action-packed day in the Bronx and start by visiting America’s largest botanical garden. The birthplace of hip hop and home to famous authors, why stop there? Learn about local artists at the community Art Gallery!

Queens

The largest of the five boroughs, there’s something for everyone in Queens. Whether you’re a Mets fan, looking for international cuisine to satisfy the taste buds or just  inspired by adventurous art, you are sure to find something to do. The ultimate destination for bringing dreams to life.

Staten Island

Staten Island may be small, but it’s the hustle away from the bustle and definitely not to be forgotten! Transporting 22 million people yearly, the Staten Island Ferry is amongst the busiest ferry lines in the US (hyperlink on 22million people yearly). You might be wanting to have a closer view of the statue of liberty, or spend a day out in the Island exploring.
