Christmas Traditions

Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year filled with love and joy. It's also filled with traditions.
We asked the meli melo team what their favourite Christmas traditions are.

Creative Director Melissa tells us about her Italian Christmas traditions.
Instead of writing letters to santa children write letters to tell their parents how much they love them. The letter is placed under your dad's plate and read to everyone after Christmas Eve dinner.
We also eat traditional Milanese cake, Panettone on Christmas Day.

Marion our Digital Marketing executive explains her French traditions.
Every year at Christmas Eve we go out see the Christmas illuminations. Meanwhile, Santa came down the chimney and ate the biscuits & drank the milk we left him.

Stef our wholesale manager tells us about her Belgian traditions

My family are from Belgium where it's tradition to buy chocolate santas from the bakery in Belgium. Much better than supermarket bought ones!

We also make gingerbread houses which are lots of fun to both make and eat.

A few more suggestions were leaving Sherry and a carrot out for Santa and Rudolph on Christmas eve. Or the Christmas Day swim where everyone jumps in the local lake, madness!
